1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the QuranNotes application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

QuranNotes is a Quran reading and reflection companion that allows you to read the Quran, record voice reflections, take notes, and track your spiritual journey. The App offers both free and premium (Pro) subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

You may create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• QuranNotes Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including notes, recordings, and folders. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you create. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by QuranNotes and is protected by intellectual property laws. Quranic text is in the public domain; however, translations and audio recitations are provided under their respective licenses.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data, including notes, recordings, and folders. This action cannot be undone.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuranNotes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

12. Apple's Standard EULA

In addition to these Terms, your use of the App is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
